We are not all the same.
Some of us are Christians, some of us are not.
Those of us who are Christian come from various Christian traditions: Anglican, Charismatic, Baptist, Brethren, Lutheran,  United, and others.
Some of us have church-related trauma, and some of us experienced a lot of love and acceptance in the church.
Some of us are older, some of us are younger.
Some of us are disabled.  Some of us are caregivers to disabled partners.
Some of us are neurodivergent.
Some of us are gay, some of us are bi, some of us are trans, some of us are ace, and some of us are a mix of different things, and some of us are still exploring who we are.  

We are fully LGBTQIA2S+ affirming.  There's nothing wrong, sinful, or broken about being gay, lesbian, bi, trans, nonbinary, ace, intersex, and so on.  We value each other and celebrate each other.
We are poly-friendly.
We respect each other's pronouns.
We try our best to accommodate each other's needs and to welcome all bodies.
We try to be trauma-informed and sensitive to each other's safety needs. 

Many of us used to belong to conservative evangelical/fundamentalist churches where fear-based religion was used to harm the LGBTQ+ community.  Some of us are survivors of conversion therapy.  We do our best to listen to each other and accommodate each other so that everyone can  have a good time.
 

 We value kindness, mutual respect,  friendship, and community.   

We value mutual support and solidarity with each other and with the local LGBTQIA2s+ community.

We respect people of other religions, and people who have no religion. 

Importantly, we view tolerance as a social contract, not as a free-for-all. In other words, we do not tolerate intolerance,  bullying, or hate speech, and no, we do not see this stand as a paradox. We see it as a necessity.
